You may not agree with Watson's methods, but one can't deny his impact

Robert Hunter, Patrick Moore and Paul Watson were the driving forces in the founding of Greenpeace. Each quite different in their personalities, goals and the methods they advocated. All eventually became alienated and "inconvenient" to Greenpeace as Greenpeace became a moribund entity focusing more on its own bureaucracy and high pay for its leadership and permanent embedded employee class, as well as kind of selling its seal of approval for money ("greenwashing"), than actual activities.Although I highly recommend "How to Change the World" for the most accurate portrayal of these Greenpeace founders, 'Watson" is a fairly good, albeit utterly uncritical look at Watson over the years

The world needs more Paul Watsons

Chilcott nailed it with this superb documentary on Paul Watson who is a modern day superhero. His empathy and passion to protect marine life and ocean's ecosystems is truly inspirational and moving even if you don't agree with his tactics. It takes a very special individual with enough cajones to expose the greed, corruption, and malice of countries like Canada, Japan, China, and many more AND bring direct action against them. May his legacy continue forever.
