Plot summary

The philosophical tale revolves around an elderly monkey prince who wakes up injured and disoriented in an environment he does not recognise. He navigates this new urban world with the support of a young monkey called Tom.

its beauty

A parable. No doubts, a beautiful one for each detail, old flavors- reminding Gulliver travels - for the colors - the green remaining, for simple truths , for a time, in memory, as a state - , for clash between youth and oldness - reminding, in same measure, the childhood and long talks with grandparents- for poetry- precise , for rich and nuanced irony, seductive and useful in profound way.A king, a country isolated in its believes , certitudes and life style, a courious boy and his family , a tender story about truths and essence of life, old scents of classic fairy tales and, not surprising, a magnificent story about wisdome.In short, just lovely. Or, more fair, precious at whole.
