Plot summary

Immigration to US

Thank you to show us face of central and south America.Just do not forget guys that since 2022 USA got millions of illegal immigrants who was jumping through the border with no documents, does it tells you anything?The Current Surge Border Encounters and Aliens Released. From January 2021 to August 2024 there have been 10.4 million "encounters" at all U. S. borders.2 There have never been this many encounters over such a short period of time, which in the past were referred to as "apprehensions," though there are some differences between the two terms. The number of encounters is suggestive of the scale of the ongoing crisis, but it does not capture the number of new illegal immigrants, as encounters can represent multiple attempts by the same person to enter the country. In addition to encounters, the most recent estimate of the number of illegal immigrants released in to the country over this time comes from the House Judiciary Committee, which reported last month that "In less than four years, the Biden-Harris Administration has released into the United States more than 5.6 million illegal aliens."3 The decision to release these aliens or fly them in under the CHNV program, represents new additions to the illegal immigrant population. Many of those released are parolees, have pending asylum applications, and/or were released on their own recognizance. Many of these individuals have been given work authorization. However, they are still inadmissible aliens who have not been formally admitted to the U. S. and are subject to deportation under the Immigration and Nationality Act.

Not a lighthearted feel-good movie.

This film has a beautifully simple storyline that manages to capture the dreams and struggles of a group of street kids on a roadtrip from Medellín, Colombia, to a poor and rural region.

Los reyes del mundo shows us both the best and the worst in humans, without being loud or in your face about it. We see the empathy of strangers, but also the lack of it. We see undying friendship, but also friendship cracking under pressure.

The cast puts in an incredibly impressive performance. I don't know anything about their backgrounds, but they hardly miss a beat.

If you're in the mood for a lighthearted feel-good movie, this is not the one for you. But otherwise I warmly recommend it.
