Plot summary

Online fashion model Hyo-jeong faces imminent threat of being unemployed because of the younger and more fashionable generation coming after her. While relying on surgical procedures and treatments, Hyo-jeong hears about a mysterious yoga class that helps make perfect body shape from her old high school classmate, Ga-yeong. Hyo-jeong eventually attends the yoga class with three classmates: Mi-yeon, a boxer who failed to keep her body fit, Ji-won, who has unstable mental condition, and Ye-na, a movie star who is morbidly obsessed with her appearance. Meanwhile, police start to investigate the enigma behind this yoga class after finding out that a murder in the neighborhood was committed by a woman named Bo-ra, a former yoga class student.

It was a really bad movie.

The Cursed Lesson was released in 2020 and can be placed in the horror genre. This film was directed by Juhn Jai-hong, Kim Ji-han, and starred Lee Chae-young, Choi Cheol-ho, Jo Jung-min, Kan Mi-youn, Han Se-min, Kim Si-woon, Bae Soo-kyung. To download The Cursed Lesson 2020, you should know that it is a South Korean product and the original language of the film is Korean.The story of this film is about yoga classes for rejuvenation, but at what cost?. Finally, considering the 5.0/10 rating it received from IMDB,This film was really poorly made and very poorly made and not scary at all.. ..

A Horror Movie with a Twist

The movie tackles real-life issues and problema brought about by aging, insecurities and drugs. The film takes it's viewers to a web of intrigue and plot twists that in the end, one will say, "ok... Now it makes sense".

For a horror movie, this one offers a very sensual sex scene (acrobatic, if I may say), and just the right amount of minimal gore and blood, so make sure to limit the audience to just 18+.

Though I must say, until the end, Kundalini is not really given an ample explanation, and the viewer will need to decide if it is real or just a pigment of the character's drugged minds.

Before the movie ended, I was feeling kinda bored due to the seemingly slow pacing, but I know I am in for a plot twist so I manage to wait for it until the end.

I can say the movie is worth your while, though it left me thinking: so what do the snakes have to do with it? What is the connection of the legend about the snake cave, the giant snake, and the snake people in the whole story? Guess I wouldn't find out.
