Bad host and too much gushing

Cedric the Entertainer is just not funny or interesting, plus being happy & excited is good but for some reason many winners over did the gushing and thank you's.The jokes seemed forced and over American, they really missed a Ricky Gervais style compère, it was to plain and sickly sweet at times.If I was there I would have hit the bar 20 mins in.

We're back

What a show it was. It was great to see all the people back together again in the same room celebrating TV. The opening number was amazing. The best Emmys opening ever and it was so enjoyable for everyone there and watching. Not all the skits went well but the 'No Emmys wins help group' skit was very funny. Winners were deserving and memorable moments like Rita Wilson rapping. A worthy celebration of TV which got many people through Covid with the entertainment they provided. Credit to Cedric the Entertainer and all presenters, producers all creators of the show.
