From a Simple Idea to Great Inspiration: My Journey and Elon Musk

This documentary was incredibly inspiring and fascinating to me, making me reflect on my own journey and aspirations.Back in 2010, when I was just 17, I found myself on an old bus during a grueling 1,100 km journey. At that time, I sketched an idea for intercity transportation through vacuum tubes on a simple piece of paper.Unlike what many might think, this idea wasn't just a distant dream for me. I had done extensive research and even shared it with a few inventors. However, due to the small, limiting environment I was in, I was often told, "We don't even have decent cars, let alone such innovations."Then, in 2016, I was completely shocked to see this very idea being implemented in an Arab country. That moment showed me that dreams can indeed become reality, and sometimes, you just need to change where you are to achieve something bigger.Learning now that Elon Musk, one of the greatest innovators of our time, also came from Africa makes his journey even more relatable and inspiring to me.

Thinly veiled hit piece

Although it presents itself as objective, it rarely credits Musks genius or hard work, strongly suggesting his success comes purely from hype. Even the issues presented about musk are over inflated and easily explainable as an imperfect multinational corp, not necessarily Musks fault.

They also make silly mistakes, like claiming the Fremont factory was in San Francisco.

They bring up the attack on his family as a kid during the 80s in South Africa and leave out that it was political.

Elon is not perfect, by any means, and no one is claiming otherwise, but his advancement in global commerce (Paypal) Battery Tech and Automotive (Tesla and Solar) and space exploration (Space Tech) is undeniable, and in a 90min "documentary" they did not acknowledge any of that.

Whoever created this began with a huge chip on their shoulder, obvious bias.
