The Best Video Game Adaption to Date
Street Fighter Assassin's Fist shows all those other video game movies exactly how you do an adaptation. You start off simple, immerse the viewers into your world slowly, and add video game references and music along the way.
I've seen plenty of other video game adaptations and this one is still the top one. The CG on the Hadouken's is amazing, the fact that they actually take music from the video game. Ryu and Ken's themes in particular is a plus.
The casting is the best, the actors actually look like their SFII counterparts, and when they shout: "HADOUKEN or Shrouyuken!" I get video game vibes. This obviously was a starter movie that was going to have a sequel that led into the World Warrior tournament. It's a shame that we probably won't get that movie till 2023, but here's something to do if you really want more, watch Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie. Pretend it's a sequel. That helps me out a lot.
This is the Street Fighter I've seen and the best video game adaptation. Take that 1994 film.
Street Fighters, Martial Arts
The fans of Street Fighters have always expected for a faithful adaptation in live action, and I have to say this is the ADAPTATION. The martial arts, costumes, the nature of the characters, the atmosphere of the places, everything is very well done.
When I was a kid dreamed watch the power of Ryu and Ken, and with Street Fighter Assassin's Fist, I could see even more. I hope that people who love Martial Arts or Street Fighter, or both, take the time for watching Street Fighter Assassin's Fist, because they're gonna enjoy that time.
I hope this project continue and show us more characters.
