Plot summary

COVID-19 is rampant in the world. Juri, a 25-year-old young girl, stops socializing and has been just staying at home. Her mother, Young-shim struggles against the hard season, still running her Kim-bob place. One day, Young-shim leaves to take care of her sick mother, and Juri takes charge of the restaurant unexpectedly.

Slice of life, understated, sweet

Very much slice of life.Started out as something and ended up being something completely different. I welcomed the change. I found Ju-ri very annoying and entitled in the beginning, but then she improved.Could be an eight, I dunno, it just didn't touch me in a special way, it's a nice one actually, but maybe its understated approach kept me at bay a little. It is mostly devoid of the usual exaggerated actions and reactions, so I appreciated that. There's a lot unsaid that you have to figure out for yourself or fill in the blanks, which can work either way, depending on your preference I guess. I suppose this evening I wanted something deeper or more impactful.The kid is hella cute.Do all Korean boys walk around with band aids or is this only a thing in the movies?
