Plot summary

Stumped by brutal sex-mutilation crimes, Detective Chris Coxon turns to police psychologist Sarah Scott for help. As their relationship evolves, he must deal with Scott's complicated personal history, a wrenching experience that forces him to challenge his most basic assumptions about morality and justice. At last the crimes are solved, but Coxon is forever changed by both the process and the unexpected answer.

Entertaining and Substantive

This detective thriller has a strong female character and the plot deals with sensitive social issues. From the stats, it is clear that women viewers favor the film more than male. If you want fiery action and high-tech graphics, this may not be for you. But if you seek a strong plot and accept that it is a true indie (no studio; no big bucks behind this one), then you may be in for a treat. The film has a lot of production value, many venues, and solid performances.

Can't unsee this one

Horrified that this is even getting a one star...bad script, horrible, horrible, horrible (yes three horribles) acting, horrible all around.
