Fun and Inspiring Film About a Independent Record Label
This is a great documentary that will have you loving Stone Throw and its artists if you don't love them already!
To start off, I'll partially agree with another reviewer that you might need some prior knowledge to really get into the film, and given that this is a smaller doc about a niche subject you will probably have some idea of Stones Throw. And although not being too familiar with all the names and faces can be hard to follow, it does not distract from the message the film tries to convey.
Regardless of your music preference, this movie keeps you entertained with the the origin and survival of this humble independent record label.
If you love hip-hop then this label will have your favorite artist's favorite artist. This film explores the loyalty that artistic integrity can bring.
Give it a watch as you will not be disappointed!
