Was this for real...?

Of course I had never heard about this 2024 movie titled "Mother Mafia" from director Daniel Yates. But of course, since it was a movie that I hadn't already seen, I opted to give the movie a fair chance. In all honesty, I seriously believed that this movie was a movie from Maverick Entertainment. Turns out that it wasn't, but that didn't really make it an any more enjoyable movie.The storyline in the movie was simplistic, to the point where I was starting to wonder if it was written by a high school student. Needless to say that I found very, very little entertainment in the script and storyline that Jasmine Ebony Thomas concocted for this movie.The dialogue in the movie was brutally awful. I don't understand why they had many of the character speak like they were in a renaissance fair. It just made everything seem like a farce and a joke, making it rather difficult to take the characters seriously.Needless to say that I was not familiar with a single actress or actor on the cast list. The acting performances were fair enough, though nothing noteworthy, memorable or outstanding.Sitting through 80 minutes of this movie was definitely a test of will. It was a boring movie at best.
