Authentic Romania under harsh communist rule - one man's tale

Simply wonderful! I loved it - if you love Romania or you want to get an inside view of life for one man during the Ceauscescu era, watch this film ;)

wonderful brief portrait of life in 20th century eastern Europe

Anyone even slightly interested in understanding this era and history must absolutely watch this! Well done and authentic. No BS, no pressure no bias no leading, no pushing. Pure and honest. Just an old guy telling his life. But not just any and ordinary guy. Huge bravo!Life before, during and after communism.Guy born in middle class and well situated before WW2 and communism. Under communism lived as above middle class. After communism middle class, retired. But always kept close touch with ordinary people, ordinary life, humble and always down to earth ... must see.Black and white movie bothered me a little but not a big deal.
