Don't watch this rubbish! Trust me!

This is a terrible film.Where to start? The awful fake British accents, the dreadful script and awful "comedy".It's really horrific. The lead is especially bad, but everyone is really bad. It's not at all funny. Why not just set it where it's filmed, in Australia instead of pretending very poorly to be English? The cast are just shockingly bad!The script is just as bad.It just adds anything it thinks is English but it just does it badly. You won't laugh at all.Think one of the fake high rated reviews is the studio. Go read and see for yourself.I have never seen such a bad "comedy" and I've seen tens of thousands of films!I had to write a review to save you from this.

I'm so sorry Eliza

This movie reminds me of an AU clexa fanfic that I read once when I was 15. They even got clarkes hair style right. Just switched a view gender roles and names of characters and I wouldn't have noticed the difference. It was overall pretty cringy. I just hope the actors had fun and that this doesn't inhibit them from getting actually good roles with good writing. The low budget really shows only in the writing. No one says any of these funny tag lines. I wasn't laughing out of enjoyment, but embarrassment. For the cast. The accents were not funny (sven). Stereotyped a black man as a drug dealer and also attempted murderer. (Not a good look). And overall there was a lot of telling not showing in this movie. All in all I'd say this is a millennial cringe low budget movie.

Will be one of my go-to films for a LONG time

For me, this film has everything - quirky humour, laugh-out-loud moments, truly unexpected events and a group of people it's very easy to feel part of.

It's rare to find something these days in the romcom genre which doesn't follow a set pattern, but this truly doesn't; and it kept me guessing - and entertained - right up to the end. This is unusual as my attention span is pretty short!

The best thing about it? It feels real. Nothing is 'held back' for the sake of how it looks, yet all the boxes one has to tick today are there naturally. The worst thing about it? It had to end and there isn't a sequel!
