Extremely problematic movie, which sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. I primarily blame mixing of few genres for that...
While the first half of the movie is atmospheric and has potential, the other half was pretty formulaic ( like the director got lazy and put everything that's good in the first half ) and supernatural elements didn't really add up to anything...
There are few allegories ( most notably Dante's inferno at some places ) and few striking scenes, but too little and too far between to have some sort of impact.
I don't know, as I said, I liked first half better and because of that, this one gets 6 from me, but I can't help the feeling, there was a much better movie here, than the one we got. Overall, it's not a waste of time, but don't expect masterpiece and I think that supernatural elements were unnecessary. If this was one pure genre, I think it would be a better movie altogether...
Plot summary
A supernatural thriller in which a hitman, facing an existential crisis, decides to exit the game and leave town with the woman he loves, but his plans are disrupted by a mysterious young man and his ruthless former boss.
