Plot summary

Big rig ice road driver Mike McCann travels to Nepal to scatter his late brother’s ashes on Mt. Everest. While on a packed tour bus traversing the deadly 12,000 ft. terrain of the infamous Road to the Sky, McCann and his mountain guide encounter a group of mercenaries and must fight to save themselves, the busload of innocent travelers, and the local villagers’ homeland.

Action packed fun adventure

One of the few movies that have grabbed my attention this year not because of Liam Neeson but the fact some friends of mine worked in the town where this was filming and they loved watching filming while the film was in production, I can see why now, they had a first class seat. And I have to say I did quite enjoy the film. It'll be a sleeper hit for sure because I managed to watch this on streaming when it released and have since watched it twice and maybe a few more times in the future.The setting and the pacing make for fun viewing and yes while the CGI could've done with some tweaking my only other complaint is that it felt a little short? But that's fine, it was a treat.It was also a great seeing some familiar faces too, and how well they all gelled, the actress who played Starr really came into her own in the film and I think she has a bright future ahead.Give it a go, I highly enjoyed it you may too.

Don't waste your time

Cliche idiocy at it's worst. The director must be a secondary school film club member. Liam must've wanted a free holiday in Kathmandu and couldn't even be bothered to act. I wouldn't even give this a "B movie" status. Nice scenery though. Typical bad guy wants something that good guys don't want to sell so he and his gang of paid mercenaries blah blah blah. Weapons with infinite bullets blah blah blah.You would think Neeson would give us a break from this worn out Taken esque stuff, what next a care home is overrun by terrorists? The man had a great thing with the first two Taken movies then it all went downhill so please stop flogging the dead horse, surely he can find something better than this drivel.

Not bad action movie, Fan Bingbing brought surprises.

Like the first film, this film is also full of tension and sensory stimulation. The dedication of Liam Neeson is respectable. It is worth mentioning that Fan Bingbing is very attractive in the film. Her appearance makes the boring action movie interesting. I hope I can still see such a beautiful role in the action movie in the future. There is not much snow mountain scenery in the movie, but an exciting pursuit game around the mountain road, a bus and a group of people, who do what they think is right for a sense of justice. When you think this is a boring and old-fashioned action movie, I think you should watch it.
