Plot summary

Busola has forever been unlucky with love. Pressured by society and her parents to tie the knot as a means to lift her family out of poverty, she finally meets Tunji – the perfect man. At first, Busola struggles to understand why a billionaire would choose to marry her, but after she accepts his proposal of marriage, a series of increasingly disturbing discoveries lead her to a truth she could never have imagined.

I enjoyed but it wasn't really structured correctly for a horror movie

This was more of a drama with some horror elements. Because it wasn't structured for horror and lacked horror conventions this will give the impression that the movie drags or is slow.There was never really a place where I felt any real anxiety or apprehension not because these elements are there but because when there is horror it feels rather random and lacking tension. The build up of emotions from act 1, to 2 to 3 really isn't there. The film maker does some smart things with a low budget and small cast. I look forward to future projects from this filmmaker as he or she improves their craft. I really liked it except it just wasn't structured it correctly on the page for horror.

Very disappointing resolution

The story seem OK at first, until the resolutional end , where "the lazy" writer used oil (cooking olive oil) to defeat the obstacle (demon)..they were better ways to go about it.

Also, what was the dad's take on all these? Why is he among them? Why kill the wife? Why is he willing to sacrifice/give away his own daughter? What is he benefiting? A lott of questions were not answered.

A typical nollywood movie where a writer creates a wonderful obstacle but resolves it using prayers or oil.

Like someone rightly pointed out, the writer used the concept in "Ready or Not," but this time in nollywood usual way of poor escape route to defeat obstacles.

I commend the actors and actresses. They all did well.

Kudos.

Need more black eastern cinema like this

I give it a four because black films not saturated with USA culture is needed. Igive it a five because i love to see dark skinned with their natural hair. Need more Juju in my thriller movies.

Black women in American films are exploited pitifully. I laughed when the preacher said IHave Done It. Sir you sure did not. LOL
