Plot summary

Possibly the worst movie ever made

Seriously...?

Of course I had never heard about this 2019 Nigerian movie titled "Heist" prior to stumbling upon it by random chance here in 2025. And since it was a movie that I hadn't already seen, of course I opted to give the movie a fair chance.The storyline in the movie was pretty simplistic, and actually rather mundane and boring. I was by no means impressed with the script and storyline that writer Mary Okonta managed to conjure up for director Umanu Elijah to bring to the screen. The pacing of the storyline was really sluggish, and it wasn't as if there was much of anything interesting or exciting happening throughout the course of the 91 minutes that the movie ran for.Needless to say that I was not familiar with the cast ensemble in the movie. The acting performances were fair, I suppose, but I can't claim that I found any of the performances to be outstanding or memorable.The music in the movie was ridiculous, especially the horn music, as it was giving the movie a silly cartoonish feel.My rating of director Umanu Elijah's 2019 movie "Heist" lands on a generous two out of ten stars.
