Husband and Wife????

The two leads who are playing husband and wife, look more like father and daughter. So the reality level from the start is at an all time low.And with this type of misplaced casting of believable character per the roles they are to play, I throw all credibility for this film out the window. It is extremely hard to find enjoyment in a movie when the writers and director insult your intelligence with piss poor logic in the casting department. It is like the casting director is an incel or a republiKKKan where they cast women 20 years younger than their male counterparts. If you want to see a better version of this symptom being presented in a movie. Watch "Fuga" the 2018 Polish version in which the characters are realistically matched and you can actually feel a real connection.

Great Canadian Movie!

I have been watching a lot of Canadian film and television recently due to online film festivals being "the norm" in 2020 and I stumbled upon THE FUGUE.

After some friends had recommended it, I decided to have a watch. A great lean story with wonderful performances from the three leads. I was actually surprised by the ending too! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to be inspired by what kinds of independent films are being made in Canada!
