A few friends made this movie

This is the worst movie I've ever seen in my whole entire life no special facts no nothing no costume just a bunch of friends pretending to play in a movie. I honestly think I can make it better movie with my friends. This movie shouldn't even be in the Internet Movie Database.

Abra Cadabra!! A Postmodern Masterpiece That Elevates It's Genre!

Dear CEO of Colossal Wreck Productions, "Da Populo, da verba mihi!!". This film provides a compelling argument that challenges the watcher, and raised various questions about what it means to be human in this bleak and unfeeling universe. Stunningly bold in every faucet of its presentation, it confounds and delights. With sound mixing that matches even Hollywood classics: such as Interstellar; Dunkirk; Tenet and, of course, The Dark Knight Rises. The overwhelmingly powerful music that some critics have called, "fresh", liberates the brainwashed masses from their vapid existence. Packed to the brim with consistently innovative lighting techniques, and cinematography to make Rodger Deakins weep with inadequacy. With truly exceptional symbolism that enlightens the audience with Nietzschean themes and the Nihilistic truth of the self - the becoming a child. A gripping, awe-inspiring tour-de-force resulting from the bold usage of posterior imagery that encapsulates and excites, by appealing to the distinctly masculine. A motivational masterwork for any aspiring medical student that wants to cure the most evil of all Man's ills - the Blood Box.I want to express my sincere thanks for bringing to light the limitless expressionism of the artform through your work. I now feel confident to pursue my true passion as a director/producer/writer/cinematographer/editor/best-boy (the Holy Senity if you will, lol).Yours Sincerely, Norman Archibald Hotham Taylor III (an admirer)

Seriously...?

While I had indeed never heard about this 2020 movie titled "Faust the Necromancer", I must admit that the movie's cover and the title had be lured in. Though the movie's staggering 3.1 rating, as of this very moment of me sitting down to watch it, certainly didn't forebode well. But still, I opted to give the movie the benefit of the doubt. Now, I am sure that writer and director Varun Giridhar had the best of intentions with this, and the script certainly had potential in certain places. But it just didn't really provide me with much of any entertainment.Needless to say that I was not familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list. And while that is usually something I enjoy, watching new and unfamiliar talents on the screen, I have to say that the acting performances in this movie were pretty wooden. Especially leading actor Terrance Willis playing Faust and Freddie Webster III playing Mephistopheles, it was just like watching fish out of water. Of all nineteen actors and actresses listed to have participated in the movie, only one had a photo in her IMDb profile; that pretty much sums up the low budget and home-made ambition of the project that is "Faust the Necromancer"."Faust the Necromancer" looked and felt like nothing more than a group of friends coming together with one of their parent's video camera to make a movie. This was rather amateurish and home-made.The movie's cover actually over-sells the movie by a landslide. It was actually the best thing about the entire ordeal. My rating of writer and director Varun Giridhar's 2020 movie "Faust the Necromancer" lands on a two out of ten stars.
