A fang-tastic take on the classic

What I liked: 1) Most of the voice performances were solid, and are all the more impressive knowing that the film is voiced by only two actors 2) There were a lot of fun characters. It was cool to see Laura transform into a total badass vampire. Kieth and Todd were pretty funny throughout.Where the film lost me: 1) An early shot of the town shows that we're in Massachusetts, but the architecture felt more European, with the exception of the Rose Motel. If the film was meant to be a more modern take on Dracula, I feel like the set design should have reflected that. 2) The music was repetitive and didn't always make sense for the tone of the scene (or scenes, when used transitionally).

Barely a film

Sweet leaping Christ on a bike. The only reason this qualifies as a "movie" is because, well, things move. That's literally the only somewhat positive thing that can be said about it. The graphics look like they were rendered with a PS1, and I was truly surprised when it was revealed this movie was made in 2015. If you've seen 'Foodfight', you'll apologize for saying it looked bad. There's no plot. Things just kind of happen and are indecipherable from one another because you can't focus on a plot because you'll be so baffled by how absolutely terrible everything looks. Speaking of looks, humans are pure nightmare fuel. The movie pads itself out by having a 2 pixel PNG of a character's head floating around saying "All who participated must die for eternity", for, and I checked, a solid 2 minutes.

Painful to watch; Interesting to listen.

Visually this movie was a nightmare. The lip-syncing was off for a majority of the film and that's not even mentioning the graphics themselves, which alone were an eyesore. The characters move painfully slowly, which just drags this movie out forever, and you spend so much time watching them struggle to move two inches that you have no choice but to focus on the details (or lack thereof) in the scene. Some characters will even slide around rather than having a walking animation. The voice acting, however, actually shows some effort. You can tell they're trying to be diverse and make their voices match their characters, even though there are only two voice actors total. Were it not for the awkward timing issues due to having to wait for the character models to move (which they do as slow as possible), then this might have been a bit more salvageable. The story is interesting, but the more plot heavy moments are rushed through, and how they are visually represented is disappointing. It's bad; but they tried.
