Plot summary

Alpha male social media star Stue Harrington dupes a group of his peers into an overnight live-streaming event at an abandoned movie studio in Las Vegas, Nevada. Deep behind the old movie sets is the lair of a savage blood thirsty Clown Model Moxie who's directed to kill these intruders by a sinister Otherworld-Coyote.

Stay well clear of this one...

Never having heard about the 2020 horror movie "Die Influencers Die", as I stumbled upon it by random chance here in 2025. And given my love of horror, of course I opted to check out the movie. I have to say, though, that I wasn't exactly harboring the biggest of expectations to the movie given the fact that it focuses on influencers. Yeah, I have never been a fan of social media influencers, as I can't take them seriously, and thus wasn't really expecting much from director Gary Dean Orona. But truth be told, the reason for sitting down to watch the movie was to watch influencers get taken out in hopefully gruesome ways.Writers Kelly Garrett-Orona, Mike Karaoke and Gary Dean Orona put together a script and storyline that was every bit as laughable and boring as I assumed it would be. So my low expectations to the movie were true. I have to admit that I was starting to zone out around 20 minutes into the ordeal. This movie is suitable for background noise, and that is essentially all it is good for.I was not familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list. The acting performances were dubious for the most parts. And I can't claim that I can say that there was a single actor or actress that stood out as memorable. The influencers in the movie were every bit as ridiculous and annoying as real life influencers prove to be.This is a low budget horror movie with equally low budget special effects, so don't get your hopes up.Some of us suffered through the dumpster fire that is "Die Influencers Die", so you don't have to; you're quite welcome.My rating of director Gary Dean Orona's 2020 movie "Die Influencers Die" lands on a two out of ten stars.

Influencers r a pain in the ass

The reason I wanted to watch this movie becaus of the title. Influencers are a useless and unneeded. A cheap horror movie and an idiot influencer is not really making them ridiculous as they are.

All of the influencers are bad actors, as in real live they are.

The effects are cheap and ridiculous and not scary at all.
