Being punked?

Wait, is this supposed to be a Saturday Night Live skit? The lead actress who plays the character Jenny sounds like she is reading off a cue cards. Is she the daughter of somebody that made this movie? One of the worst actors ever. Maybe there's an opening at a local Starbucks for her instead? Asking for a friend. I actually felt myself getting embarrassed several times for her in just a few minutes of the movie. After about 15 minutes into the movie, I thought wait, I need to look this up, maybe it is supposed to be a satire of a movie? But, not so lucky, this is supposed to be serious acting. Perhaps, if you want to be an actor, you should learn to be an actor first before you try it out on an actual movie set.

Funny bad

I watched this yesterday and don't really remember anything from it, other than the TERRIBLE line delivery of the teenage girl character, and the dumb Lifetime-style plot. I'll give it points for being so bad that it was almost good, but not quite to Room or Neil Breen levels, but honestly really close. If you like bad movies, this is a fine side monitor movie that might occasionally have you turn your head from whatever you're actually doing and rewind a few seconds because you heard something so unexpected or untimely that you just have to make sure you were still watching the same movie.I've sat through much worse actual Lifetime movies.

Take an Aspirin first and get your earplugs

Let's talk about Izabellah Diez, the lead actress, whose performance is so horrendous it borders on traumatizing. Her portrayal of the protagonist is completely flat and devoid of any emotional depth. But the real issue here is her voice. Her tone is grating, forced, and utterly painful to listen to. If you thought the plot was going to be the worst part of this film, think again. Izabellah's dialogue delivery feels unnatural, like someone reading their lines off a script for the first time. At some points, it almost feels like she's speaking in an entirely different movie, entirely unaware of the tension or drama happening around her. Frankly, earplugs should be mandatory if you plan to sit through this film-her voice is truly traumatizing, and I'm not being dramatic.
