starting out, trying and succeeding

Ok...it is not a Hollywood blockbuster or anything like that, but I applaud the writers/directors and actors for starting a horror movie which is an entry into this genre.Of course Tiffany Beall.and the other ladies are there for acting, story development and eye-candy, and before anyone screams "they are too big or chubby" I say : well done top these ladies for filming scenes with nudity which are arguably hard too shoot -no pun intended-I would also like to commend the director/writer for not hiring the basic 'hot' girl with big b**bs, instead they opted (or casted) mature (and yes : attractive ladies) which lacks in so many films..well done to the whole cast, your effort is noted...and appreciated!

What the H... was this...?

Granted, from the movie's cover alone, then I wasn't harboring any grand expectations. I had, indeed, never even heard about "Deadly Culture: Species X" prior to watching it. So I didn't know what I was in for.But seriously, what the H... was this I just watched? It was nothing more than an excuse from writer and director Joe Sherlock to show off nudity with plus sized women. Sure, there was something resembling a storyline wrapped around the nudity, to attempt making it look like an actual movie. But let's be honest, it wasn't.But plump women getting naked and showering or making out with plump men doesn't really measure up as entertainment in my opinion.Of course I was not familiar with any actresses or actors on the cast list. And for the most parts, the acting performances were dubious. This was an amateurish attempt at film making. And it showed obviously on the screen, given the questionable cinematography. It looked like something that was shot on someone's dad's home video camera and handed over to high school film students to edit. You're not exactly in for a stellar movie, should you opt to watch "Deadly Culture: Species X".This is definitely not a movie that I would recommend to fans of the horror genre. Yeah, the movie is labeled as a horror movie, but I suppose the real horror was the fact that this movie was actually a thing. The best thing about "Deadly Culture: Species X" was the cover, and even that wasn't a particularly great thing, mind you.My rating of "Deadly Culture: Species X" lands on a generous one out of ten stars.
