Plot summary

In the small town of Huntsville, Texas, there is an unsolved murder of a nine-year-old girl. A convicted ex-con, Jack, has been released from prison after new DNA evidence proved he was not present at the scene of the crime. But when another little girl is brutally murdered after Jack's release, the town points their fingers at the ex-con. As Jack works to free his name, new suspects emerge in a town trying hard to keep secrets buried.

A clever movie but too convoluted

The movie had the right idea for a thriller that keeps you thinking.However, it starts well but gets a bit convulated towards the ending. Although, nice to have but the directors have gone too far and spoilt a movie with much promise.The storyline and premise for the movie is great and you want to keep watching. But the twists and turns gets a bit tiring and unreal towards the end. By that time the viewer is looking for something real but it is sadly lost and taken too far.Sorry directors, you should do a retake of this movie to get people more interested and engaged to a final finale that is more believable.

Cheap production

Of late the star rate of IMDB and the reviewers stars have becoming a big question mark to think about before watching a movie.Culprit is a very cheaply made movie with unattractive actors, lifeless dialogues cheap product in value that screams in every frame of the movie.It is their own business making movies like these. But why the hype and adulation. It is a marketing trick or the level of taste of the present generation?Any way calling this movie worst than a school drama would be the highest insult to school dramas.Iwonder if people praising this crap has seen movies like 1. Murder on the Orient Express (2017) 2. Now You See Me (2013) 3. Enola Holmes (2020) 4. Game Night (2018) 5. Incendies (2010) 6. Knives Out (2019) 7. The Invisible Guest (2016) 8. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011) 9. The Girl on the Train (2016) 10. Get Out (2017) It is not even a single star.It doesn't deserve even a single star.

It's really really bad

I don't often write reviews, but I feel an obligation to set the record straight on this one since it was rated an 8.5 on the night we watched.I understand this is a low budget movie, but my understanding of the film industry is that the acting doesn't necessarily have to match the budget. It was poor to say the least.Another review stated there were twists and turns. I think this could be more accurately stated as a jog to the left and then a slight course correction to the right.I shouldn't be giving anything away by stating that I think half the budget for this movie went into a special effect at the end of the movie.On a positive, I think the main female lead was actually pretty decent actor, but because it's a low budget movie, I don't know her name. I can't go look it up because it will erase my review. It did once already.
