where are my girls at?

Great documentary and yes it's 10 years old at this point. Just seeing this now since it's streaming on Prime. Even 10 years ago there were a lot of women creating monsters; they have been around since the 1980's. It's very surprising in 2015 that no women(not even any women directors or writers) were interviewed. That being said, it's always interesting to hear about the history of creating creatures. As a fan of monster making and the background of these "men behind the monsters", I very much enjoyed their the stories. History is what continues our fascination with film, makeup effects, and creation of creatures.

Cool behind-the-scenes insights

Top documentary that lets well-known special effects creators have their say. Very interesting behind-the-scenes insights with many facts. We also recommend the bonus DVD, which shows how the two directors tried over several years to get hold of the interview partners and film excerpts.
