Fills In So Much

Final Fantasy XV was a large game, if they had tried to squeeze these stories into the game to fill in the blanks that left you curious about the lore, it would have become a pedantic game going off on nostalgic tangents. Instead they released shorts like this, and the movie, that not only helped you understand that the world you were playing in was a serious urban fantasy, but it showed why Noctis was in a wheelchair as a child, why each of these characters stayed steady on by his side as he marched further and further into danger. These are stories that show why these guys are Noctis's right hands and most trusted. Why they are more than friends to a moody young man with the weight of so much on his shoulders. And during one of them, Noctis even let's it be known why he's always so moody. This game is more than just a road trip meme. It's an epic in many ways and these movies and anime paint the world of 15 in broader strokes.

Mid

I haven't played the game so maybe that's why I didn't enjoy the show as much as others.

The time line was a bit confusing to me, I felt lost in almost the whole series. The plot was good for a quick binge but it's not something that you'll remember for a long time. I have to say that I found episode 2 the most entertaining among all of them, the rest seemed ok to me. And I can't seem to decide whether I like the ml noctis or not He seemed spoiled to me, idk he looked sad since he was a kid even though everyone treated him very well, I first assumed that his father was cruel but that wasn't the case at all and then there's this situation when ignis comes to clean his messed up house and doesn't even get a simple thank you from noctis in return I know it's his job but saying thank you wouldn't harm.
